Interested in becoming a Stroke Champion?

We train local leaders to provide stroke education in their own communities.

Champions receive:

  • Access to our online training module
  • A monetary stipend for their time and outreach efforts
  • Materials and resources to educate others

Role overview

Stroke Champions are community leaders and advocates who will play a vital role in raising awareness about stroke prevention, recognition, and response. As trusted members of their communities, they will help educate and empower others with lifesaving information, ensuring that those at higher risk for stroke (Black non-Hispanic, Hispanic, low-income individuals, seniors, and students) have access to critical stroke education.

Stroke Champions will receive specialized training through our program and will be provided with resources, materials, and ongoing support to conduct outreach and education within their communities.
