Who are we?
WooStroke is a community-based health initiative, proudly serving Worcester, MA. Our mission is to empower our communities to take charge of their well-being with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to recognize and respond to stroke symptoms.
Why is this important?
Stroke is one of the leading causes of long-term disability, and its impact isn’t equal. Some populations face a greater risk than others. That is why early recognition and immediate care are so crucial. Knowing the signs can dramatically improve outcomes and even save lives.
How we are taking action
- Through this website: making stroke awareness accessible to everyone.
- Stroke Champions in the community: face-to-face education in Worcester neighborhoods, schools, faith groups, and public spaces.
